It was so incredible to see Reema race at her home track again this year with Saudi Racing in the GT4 European Series.

The first race didn’t go so well for her due to multiple stoppages and she ended up not finishing the race before she could hand over the car to her teammate during the pit window.

However, the second race went absolutely fantastic with Ahmed taking the class lead on the first lap then and despite the lengthy FCY period and the delayed pit window, he managed to hand over the car to Reema in a good position. For the remainder of the race Reema maintained her position as 3rd in class and ended the race with a podium.

Congratulations to her and Saudi Racing. Hopefully we can see Reema on track more next year🩵🥳

Unfortunately for the team the race didn’t pan out the way it was meant to. It was difficult to move up the grid due to the sheer number of cars and not many overtaking opportunities plus they were not helped either by the multiple FCY or Safety Cars. Despite this there were plenty of times when the car ended up in the top 10 but unfortunately by the end of the race they finished in 12th place.

Well done to the team and drivers for pushing their hardest and hopefully next year will be kinder🧡

The team did extremely well the entire race. They managed to conitently be in podium postions during the race and at some points were even leading the Gold Class. All the pit stops and strategy was executed well but unfortunately with 1hr 20mins left to go Jusuf got wacked from behind by the Pro-Class Aston Martin of David Pittard causing Jusuf to spin but he managed to rejoin the race. Despite rejoining the race, on the last pit stop the team retired the car most likely due to damage or a technical problem.

Well done to everyone for all their hard work throughout the season and hopefully next year will be just as awesome🤍

McLaren have had a rollercoaster of a weekend. The sprint race went exactly how they needed it to go but the Grand Prix was chaotic. Oscar managed to get a podium and Lando managed to do an incredible recovery drive after that stop and go penalty. Honestly this entire race was chaos from poor decisions from the FIA and the multiple stoppages and accidents. The Constructors championship will now be decided in Abu Dhabi next week.

Lewis (7th in the standings):

Mercedes have had a an absolute rubbish weekend. I can’t wait for Lewis to be done with this team. This race was an absolute shambles. This team is an absolute shambles because why is it always Lewis suffering? Well done to George for getting points but it’s safe to say once Lewis leaves I’m not sticking around. The disrespect is abhorrent. Hopefully this team at the human decency to make Abu Dhabi a good send off for Lewis.

Oscar (4th in the standings):

Qualifying: 8th

McLaren have had an absolutely horrid weekend. They have had no pace whatsoever and have conceded a lot of points which means now Ferrari are closer in the Constructors. The past few races the team have been inconsistent and it has cost them dearly. The suspected culprit to the loss of pace was the modified rear wing they had to change after Baku. Both drivers struggled immensely with their graining and even in clean air the pace was horrible. Hopefully next week will be better or this Constructors Championship will also be lost.

Lewis (7th in the standings):

Mercedes have had a an incredible weekend from start to finish. They topped all the timing sheets for each session and were by far the fastest team this weekend. The car seems to like very cold temperatures and a relatively dusty track so both drivers had a field day. George did a fantastic job throughout the entire race just cruising at the front while Lewis fought his way up the pack from 10th. The team did well with their strategy calls for pit stops which weren’t easy considering how much traffic was on track. Now let’s see Toto open his mouth about shelf life😇

FIA FR World Cup🇲🇴 debrief Dino edition

SJM Theodore Racing by Prema No.30:
Qualifying 1: 9th
Qualifying 2: 15th
Qualifying Race: 11th
Macau Grand Prix: 8th (Promoted from 10th)

Dino made his return to the Macau Grand Prix this week for the second year in a row.

During the 10 lap Qualifying Race which sets the grid for the main race; Dino moved up to 12th place from 15th on the opening lap but an early safety car was brought out due to a crash. Just before the race got suspended due to the rain coming in Dino moved up to 11th. The race was then resumed behind the safety car with 3 laps to go which took us to the end of the Qualifying Race. Dino was promoted to 10th after post race penalties.

For the main race it began under safety car but after one lap it came in. Dino just narrowly missed getting involved in the pile up that happened on the second lap and managed to continue on unscathed but the race got red flagged. The race then resumed with one lap behind the safety car and at this point Dino was in 9th until the restart when he dropped to 12th. On the final lap Dino moved up to 10th after his teammate Slater went into the wall. Dino finished the race in 10th but got promoted to 8th after the PHM cars which finished in 5th & 6th got disqualified.

A very big well done to Dino who finished in a much better position than last year despite the trickier conditions throughout the 4 days and I can’t wait to see what he has to give when he steps into an F2 car for the last two rounds this year 💙💛!!

FIA GT World Cup 🇲🇴 debrief Ralf edition

Tororacing No.7:
Qualifying: 15th
Qualifying Race: 14th
Macau GT Cup: 12th

Ralf made his debut in his first ever FIA GT World Cup this week with Torororacing. Conditions during the first two days were quite mixed with the track being wet for a majority of the first two days.

During the 12 lap Qualifying Race which sets the grid for the main race; Ralf moved from 15th to 14th on the second lap at turn 4 which is ultimately where he finished the qualifying race after consistently defending against the Porsche of Thomas Preining.

The rain decided to pay a visit once again and the main race was under wet conditions. The first 4 laps were under safety car due to the rain and then the safety car came in on the 5th lap. For a majority of the race Ralf remained in 14th but with 7 laps to go he moved up to 13th due to Vanthoor heading into the pits. While the chaos happened at the front on the final lap which caused Marciello to retire, Ralf slipped into 12th place which is where he ended the race.

A massive well done to Ralf and the team, hopefully we see Ralf at Macau next year💙!!

Qualifying: 8th

Sprint Race: 2nd (7 points)
Grand Prix: 8th (4 points)
Positions: =

McLaren began the weekend very well during the Sprint Race but everything went downhill during the Grand Prix. The tough conditions and bad decisions from the pit wall did not do both drivers any favours. The pit wall needs to get their act together because what Lando did during the aborted start was on them for not giving him the correct information thus he ended up with a fine. They again messed up with his pit stop and cost him valuable points. Oscar struggled in the conditions throughout the race and was unlucky with that penalty. Again this team needs to get their act together.

Lewis (7th in the standings):

Mercedes have had a horrid weekend due to the weather and their set up not being correct. Lewis has had a horrid weekend because that car was horrible. There is no way that George and Lewis were driving the same car. George’s pit wall made a horrible call with the pit-stop costing him a potential win. To top everything off they ended up getting fined for a technical infringement during the aborted start due to the team checking the tyre pressures when they were not meant to. This has honestly been a weekend to forget and another example of how temperamental the W15 is.

Oscar (4th in the standings):

Qualifying: 17th

Grand Prix: 8th (4 points)

Another mixed weekend from McLaren with Oscar again having a not so great qualifying session. He did well to recover and finish in 8th despite being stuck in a load of dirty air. Lando did well to finish 2nd and i guess the FIA has got their stuff together by rightfully giving Max two 10 second penalties. Lando did well to avoid crashing with Max and keeping his cool in order to focus on his own race. The constructors fight is now on with Ferrari.

Lewis (6th in the standings):

Qualifying: 6th
Grand Prix: 4th (12 points)
Positions: +2

George (7th in the standings) :

Qualifying: 5th
Grand Prix: 5th (10 points)

Mercedes have had a decent weekend but George crashing for the second weekend in a row is costing the team a lot. The car was a lot better this week and the team can analyse the differences between the new and old floor to see which one was better. Lewis was running the Mexico aero spec while George was running the Silverstone spec due to him destroying his upgrades. George did incur some front wing damage but still managed to finish in 5th. The car still has a different personality each session but at least there is some progress being made.

It was quite a hectic start to the weekend when the car encurred some damage during qualifying but thankfully the team manage to repair it before the start of the race. Michele took the wheel for the start of the race and did a mega job moving up the grid before handing the car over to Jusuf. The car did get a drive through penalty for pushing another car off track. The live timing website then decided to clock out early so for lap 5 onwards i was solely going off the livestream 😭. Jusuf then handed over the car to Dennis who did a mega job to bring the car home 3rd in class and 3rd overall.

Mclaren have had a very mixed weekend this time round and now Ferrari have joined the game. Oscar had a rough time during the sprint qualifying and sprint race but he made up for it in the Grand Prix by qualifying and finishing in 5th, gaining more points for the Constructors Championship. Lando had a good weekend but it seemed that the car wasn’t very comfortable to handle. The FIA again have proved that it’s one rule for Max/Redbull and another rule for everyone else. Lando deserved 3rd place but of course FIA🤝Redbull prevailed. Both

Lewis (6th in the standings):

Mercedes have had an absolute shocker of a weekend. Everything that could go wrong went wrong and things kept going downhill. Lewis’s car was not functioning and yet again the team ignored him when he wanted to have the car worked on and start from the pit-lane. George didn’t have a great car either and ruined his chances of a better result by crashing in qualifying leading him to start from the pit-lane. The identity of this team is literally just damage control and it’s getting really old now.

Qualifying: 5th

Mclaren have had a stellar weekend throughout. They have showed that they are there to take the fight to Red Bull and extend their lead in the constructors championship. The strategy this weekend for both drivers played out very well and McLaren are slowly turning into a team that knows how to win. A 1st and a 3rd is an incredible result and Oscar did so well to execute his strategy and keep out of trouble.

Mercedes has been absolutely ridiculous. How do you go and bottle a podium for Lewis by choosing a strategy that was not the optimal one? How on earth do you sabotage your driver like that? Your car is atrocious and Lewis muscled it into 3rd in Qualifying all for the team to absolutely destroy his chances. ‘Reading the race wrong’ is NOT an excuse for this immense failure on the team’s part. George didn’t have a better race either his tyres were all over the place and he had both understeer and oversteer. Toto and the engineers need to reign themselves in because this is ridiculous now and it’s getting really embarrassing.

Lando (2nd in the standings) :

Grand Prix: 4th (12 points +1 for fastest lap)
Positions: +11

Oscar (4th in the standings):

Qualifying: 2nd

Grand Prix: 1st (25points)
Positions: +1

Mclaren turned around what started out as a pretty rocky weekend. Oscar performed incredibly to take the win, executing every overtake and defensive move to a T. Lando did very well to claw his way up the grid and helped Oscar out by holding back Checo for a lap. He did everything he could considering his start position as well as being stuck in dirty air for so long and finished in 4th which along with the points Oscar scored helped secure the lead of the WCC for McLaren ahead of Red Bull by 20 points.

Lewis (6th in the standings):

Qualifying : 7th but started from pit lane due to an engine change

Grand Prix: 9th (2 points)
Positions: +10

George (7th in the standings) :

Qualifying: 5th

Grand Prix: 3rd (15 points)
Positions: +2

Mercedes have had a rough weekend in which luck came and saved them. Both drivers complained about tyre temperature, Lewis’s tyres did not perform at all and he was struggling for grip and to make overtakes. Starting from the pit lane really hampered Lewis’s race but it was necessary considering his engine did go back in Australia so he was due for a new one anyway and with sprint races coming up taking the penalty in Baku was a somewhat lesser of two evils. George faired slightly better considering he started higher up the grid but he still had the same problems. Luck came and saved both drivers with George inheriting 3rd place and Lewis scoring points due to finishing in 9th.

4th in F2 standings

Qualified - 12th
Sprint - 12th

Sprint: 6th (3 points)
Positions: +6

Feature: 6th (6 points)

Paul moved up to 11th in the opening lap of the sprint race and stayed there for a good majority of the race because he was stuck in a DRS train. On lap 14 he moved up to 10th and after the safety car restart he moved uo to 6th. He ended the race in 6th scoring 3 points.

Paul moved up to 10th at the start of the feature race but it was red flagged immediately after a serious crash at the back of the main straight. He started 10th during the restarts and pitted at 17mins 30sec left of the race. A few laps after his pits stop he moved up to 9th then 8th then 7th then 6th due to others pitting. A virtual safety car was deployed then a safety car during the final minutes of the race which resulted in Paul finishing 6th scoring 6 points due to the shortened race thus reduced points were handed out.

Oscar (4th in the standings):

Qualifying: 2nd

Grand Prix: 2nd (18 points)
Positions: =

Mclaren were absolutely incredible this weekend but they did cost a 1-2 finish. They did well to qualify 1-2 but they showed incredible pace but unfortunately the unknown of the hard tyres cost them the opportunity to do one stop due to left front graining. Oscar is obviously gutted about losing the win but he did very well with his overall pace. Lando had a horrible start and again bottled lap 1 of a Grand Prix then everything went downhill from there since he didn’t have the clean air necessary to extract the pace needed to meet Oscar’s pace. McLaren have a decision to make because at this stage they need to decide whether they are backing Lando in trying to win the WDC or if they are throwing all their eggs into the WCC.

Lewis (6th in the standings):

George (7th in the standings) :

Mercedes have had another rough weekend. George qualified 3rd but he got wing damage during the first lap and had drive with it until his first pit stop which cost him time and places. The cars had no race pace this weekend Lewis was struggling for pace and he had more degradation on his tyres. George made a mistake on the first lap which cost him a lot.
